§ Mr. P. Freemanasked the Minister of War Transport whether he will consider erecting a Bailey bridge over the river Severn at the Aust-Beachley position pending the erection of the permanent one contemplated.
§ Mr. BarnesA Bailey bridge across the Severn Estuary would necessarily consist of a number of short spans. It would not be a suitable form of construction on account of the strong currents and the necessity of providing for navigation.
