§ Mr. LawsonClaims for the Defence Medal by members of the Home Guard will be made on Army Form B 2068. Supplies of this form are being despatched to Post Offices throughout the United Kingdom. As soon as the distribution to Post Offices has been completed and the supply of ribbon is sufficient to meet the demands of all Services affected, an official announcement will be made as to the procedure for claiming the medal.
§ Mr. Skinnardasked the Secretary of State for War whether, in view of the invaluable and long service rendered by volunteer members of the H.G. and the recent announcement that the period of their liability to recall is extended for two years, he will now consider the possibility of rewarding them by some form of monetary award.
