§ Mr. BuchananSo far as I am aware, the extent to which charitable organisations in Scotland arrange for the boarding out of children and young persons is inconsiderable; and I know of no organisation of which such boarding out is a main activity. There are one or two cases in which the managers of a voluntary home arrange for the boarding out of a child or young person in special circumstances, but this course is exceptional.
