HC Deb 14 November 1945 vol 415 cc2266-7W
Mr. Molson

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air what proportion of the aircraft used by Transport Command for the C.M.F. are Hudsons; and whether he is satisfied that this aircraft is up to date and safe for transportation purposes.

Mr. Strachey

There are 20 Hudsons still left in Communication Units in the Mediterranean and Middle East Command. The Hudson is not an up to date type, but it has a satisfactory record for safety over a long period, and it is quite suitable for the work it is doing in these Units.

Mr. Molson

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he will state in tabular form for each month of 1945 the

R.A.F. TRANSPORT COMMAND.
