§ Sir G. Gibsonasked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department if he has considered the dissatisfaction expressed by the National General Export Merchants' Group with the constitution of the reconstituted Overseas Trade Development Council; and will he state how many members of the council are export merchants.
§ Mr. JohnstoneAs I informed my hon. Friend the Member for Birmingham West (Mr. Higgs) on 16th January, I had already invited an additional merchant to join the Overseas Trade Development Council and he has agreed to serve. He is Mr. J. McLean, of Messrs. George Wills and Sons Limited. In addition to him that Council includes one other member of a merchant firm.
