asked the President of the Board of Trade the export figures from the United Kingdom to Spain of coal and oil; and the number of transport vehicles for the two periods January to June, 1945, and June to December, 1945, respectively.

Following are the figures: Exports of coal to Spain during January to June, 1945, amounted to 3,726 tons, valued at £7,931; there were no exports of refined petroleum or of commercial vehicles during this period. The latest period this year for which export figures are available is June to November, 1945. The figures are as follows: Coal, 37,660 tons (£74,247); refined petroleum, 60 gallons (£15); commercial vehicles, 8 (£7,000).
