HC Deb 11 December 1945 vol 417 c363W
Sir W. Darling

asked the Minister of War Transport if it is his intention to make proposals for improving the various Scottish ferry services.

Mr. Barnes

Any immediate improvement in ferry services is dependent upon the various authorities responsible for the ferries, but, as I stated on 22nd October in my reply to my hon. Friend the Member for North Edinburgh (Mr. Willis), a survey is being made of water barriers to transport with a view to the consideration of providing better transport facilities.
