§ Colonel LlewellinThe answer to the first part of the Question is "Yes, Sir"; in addition the number of persons who went into the district with emergency ration cards was substantial. Arrangements were, however, made so that the distribution of both rationed and unrationed foods was adjusted with the least possible delay.
