§ Mr. Turtonasked the Minister of Food whether he is aware that, as a result of the Emergency Powers (Defence) Food (Apples) Order (S.R. & 0., No. 892, of 1944) which prevents apples from Thirsk and district being sold to the county of Durham and the major part of the North Riding, large quantities of apples in the area of Thisk cannot be sold; and whether he will amend the zoning provisions in that Order or take such action as will enable these apples to be sold at remunerative prices.
