HC Deb 16 June 1944 vol 400 c2303W
Mr. Banfield

asked the Minister of Labour whether, after the Baking Trade Board have agreed to the abolition of night baking to come into effect after the war, he intends to put forward the necessary legislation to give it legal enforcement.

Mr. Bevin

I should, of course, give due weight to the views of the Baking Trade Board, but they have not so far agreed upon any recommendation on this subject and I cannot at present anticipate the action which it may be proper to take in post-war circumstances with regard to it.
