HC Deb 12 May 1943 vol 389 cc632-3W
Sir H. Morris-Jones

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether his attention has been called to the clinic for physical treatment of miners erected by the Butterley Colliery Company at their Kirkby Colliery; and how many treatment clinics on similar lines already exist in this country?

Major Lloyd George

Yes, Sir. My chief medical officer has visited this clinic and has reported on the good work which is being done there. I am not aware of the existence of any other colliery clinic providing the same range of treatment, but there are collieries at which more limited provision is made.
