§ Mr. Bracken1,588 men and 5,640 women are now employed in Great Britain as examiners in the Postal and Telegraph Censorship Department. Of these, 283 men and 292 women are within the age groups liable under the National Service Acts.
§ Mr. Dugdaleasked the Minister of Information whether, in the case of new applicants for employment in the Postal Censorship Department, there is now in operation a course of lectures given, and followed by an examination prior to appointments being made; and whether preference is given to applicants who have been discharged from the Forces due to disabilities, or to persons over the age of recruitment for National Service?
