HC Deb 21 January 1943 vol 386 cc317-8W
Sir A. Baillie

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he can make any statement as to the counties in which it is initially intended to commence the erection of cottages for agricultural workers; the form such cottages will take; and the supervision which will be exercised on their erection in the interests of landscape and other amenities?

Mr. Hudson

As I stated to-day in reply to a Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Evesham (Mr. De la Bère), I am not yet in a position to make any announcement on this matter. If the programme I have in mind proves to be practicable, the interests of landscape and other amenities will not be overlooked.
