HC Deb 15 April 1943 vol 388 c1407W
Mr. Campbell

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer the date of the recent revaluation of property in Northern Ireland; and what percentage of the revenue derived from Northern Ireland by the Imperial Exchequer in the last financial year was due to that revaluation?

Sir K. Wood

The revaluation of property in Northern Ireland under the Act of 1932 came into force for rating purposes on 1st April, 1936, and for Income Tax purposes for the year 1936–37. I regret that information is not available to enable me to make the estimate asked for in the second part of the Question.
