HC Deb 13 April 1943 vol 388 c1067W
Mr. Joseph Henderson

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been drawn to the great difficulties experienced by the Manchester licensed victuallers in securing the necessary supply of towels to cleanse the glasses used by customers; and whether, in regard to the interests of general health and in order to prevent the spread of disease, he will take steps to provide a more adequate supply of these towels?

Mr. Dalton

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Moss Side (Mr. Rostron Duckworth) on 2nd March, of which I am sending him a copy.
