HC Deb 13 April 1943 vol 388 cc1066-7W
Mr. E. Walkden

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that a number of the military tailors authorised to make uniforms under the terms of the Goods and Services (Price Control) Uniforms Order, No. 2556, are selling, contrary to specifications, factory-produced greatcoats at hand-made or be- spoke prices to officer cadets; and will he take immediate steps to terminate this practice?

Mr. Dalton

If my hon. Friend will let me have particulars of the cases that he has in mind, I will have inquiries made into them.
