HC Deb 10 November 1942 vol 383 c2305W
Mr. R. Morgan

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Works and Planning whether he is aware that there is need of canteen facilities for Government staff in the City of London area; and, in view of the fact that the matter has now been under consideration for some months, whether he will give an early decision to establish a canteen as soon as possible?

Mr. Hicks

There are already a number of canteens in Government offices in the City of London area. It is recognised that there is a need for additional facilities and it is proposed to set up one or more additional canteens as soon as practicable.
