§ Mr. SandysWhile land in this, as in any other part of the country, may be temporarily occupied for the purpose of large scale exercises, I can assure my hon. and gallant Friend that it is not intended to requisition any further training areas on the South Downs, and that all possible steps are being taken to protect private property and agricultural interests.
