§ Mr. BevinDuring the three months ended 30th April, 1942, 658 men and 14 women were ordered by local tribunals to be registered as conscientious objectors on condition that they undertake work of a civil character and under civilian control. Separate statistics relating to the type of work ordered by the tribunals are not available.
