§ Mr. MabaneI would refer my hon. Friend to the answer I gave to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Howdenshire (Colonel Carver) on 1st July. [Official Report, col. 217, Vol. 381.] The scheme is being examined together with other proposals with the same object but I am still unable to make any statement upon it at present. I am aware of the opposition to the scheme from certain quarters.
