HC Deb 07 July 1942 vol 381 cc643-4W
Professor Hill

asked the Minister of Health whether the number of registered dental practitioners now available in civil life is sufficient to ensure adequate dental treatment for all classes of the population, particularly schoolchildren?

Mr. E. Brown

I am sure that in carrying out their task of finding dentists for the Services, the Central Dental War Committee take every care to ensure that a sufficient number of dentists are left in civil life to cope with civilian demands for dental treatment, including those arising under National Health Insurance and the school dental service.
