§ Mr. Evelyn Walkdenasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is aware that 14-gallon casks of wine, described as rich tawny port, are being sold by ready-money transactions in a Southwestern district in London by an off-licence wine and spirit retailer at £100 per cask; whether such transactions will be properly checked by the Treasury inspectors; and appropriate taxation levied on the seller?
