§ Sir K. WoodI presume that my hon. Friend is referring to teachers who were pensioned under the Elementary School Teachers (Superannuation) Acts, 1898–1914. Provision has already been made for the increase of such pensions under the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1920 and250W 1924. His Majesty's Government do not feel able to introduce legislation for the purpose of increasing them still further. These particular pensioners cannot, of course, be dealt with in isolation from other classes of pensioner.
