asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has any further information respecting the disposal of West African cocoa and other products, and the direction of war-time economy?

As my hon. Friend is aware, the entire cocoa crop produced in the Gold Coast and Nigeria is purchased by His Majesty's Government through the West African Cocoa Control Board, and the possibility is being considered of extending this system to other products.
