§ Mr. W. S. MorrisonThere is already a cheap service of telegrams with the Forces in India at 5d. a word with a minimum charge of 2s. 6d. and free address. The adoption of the standard text arrangement at a faxed charge of 2s. 6d. has already been Proposed to the Government of India, which, after careful consideration of the special local problems involved, felt unable to adopt it.
