Gowerasked the Minister of Labour whether his attention has been drawn to the decision of the Edinburgh Conscientious Objectors' Tribunal to exempt Mr. Raymond O'Farrell, a ballet dancer, from military service in order to allow him to continue his dancing; and whether, in view of the irritating effect of such decisions on the morale of the fighting forces and factory workers, he proposes to take any action in the matter?
§ Mr. BevinThe decision of the tribunal is not subject to my control, but I am taking steps to have it brought on appeal before the appellate tribunal in order that the most authoritative decision may be obtained.
