§ Captain Pooleasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware of the dispute prevailing between the Gloucester Corporation and its municipal house tenants as to the rents now being charged by the corporation; and what action he proposes to take in the matter?
§ Mr. E. BrownThe answer to the first part of the Question is in the affirmative. With regard to the second part, the management of their housing estates is by statute expressly left to the discretion of the local authority. I have, therefore, no jurisdiction in such matters and I cannot properly intervene in this dispute.
