§ Captain WaterhouseVoluntary workers at rest centres are not, as such, officially enrolled Civil Defence personnel. If they are so enrolled in some other capacity, they will receive uniforms from the Civil Defence authorities. Where they are not enrolled, their aggregate needs do not appear to exceed those of any other social worker, and would not justify an issue of coupon-free overalls.
