§ Mr. PalingThe Royal Warrant of 29th June, 1940, provides that the widow of a soldier below the rank of Warrant Officer Class I may on remarriage be granted a gratuity equal to one year's pension. Corresponding provision is made in the War Pensions instruments for the Naval and Air Forces.
