§ Mr. G. Straussasked the Secretary of State for War whether he can now state the total number of Italian casualties and prisoners in the Libyan campaign, and the number of British casualties?
§ Captain MargessonAccording to my latest information, the number of prisoners of war taken is about 140,000. I have no information regarding other Italian casualties, and I do not think it would be desirable to give British casualties even when, as in this case, they are exceptionally light.
