asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food what percentage of the public are buying the Ministry's wholemeal loaf of 85 per cent. extraction flour?

Mr. Levy

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he is aware that the phytic acid in wholemeal uses up all the calcium contained in it; and whether he will therefore consider the addition of calcium to the Ministry's wholemeal loaf in order to protect consumers against rickets?

Without accepting everything in my hon. Friend's Question I can assure him that this suggestion is under active consideration.
