§ Mr. Lunnasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that many old age pensioners have been informed that the supplementary pension will be paid on a different day in the week to that on which they now receive the old age pension; that 1007W this will cause hardship and inconvenience to them in having to go, in many cases, long distances to the Post Office; and will he see to it that in all cases the supplementary pension is paid on the same day and at the same time as the old age pension?
Mr. M. MacDonaldThe supplementary pension will be payable on the same day and at the same time and place as the old age pension. If the hon. Member will be so good as to inform me of the circumstances in which misapprehension has arisen on this point, I shall be glad to make inquiries in the matter.
