§ Mr. Stokesasked the Minister of Health whether, seeing that he has declined to sanction the borrowing by the Buckfast-leigh Urban District Council of the money necessary for carrying out a proposed sewerage scheme, the reason being the urgent necessity of reserving capital resources for the war effort, but has consented, however, to grant a loan for completing purchase of the land should the council be unable to reach an agreement with the owner, he will say what is the amount involved, and what is the area, the price and the present net rateable value of the land in question?
Mr. M. MacDonaldNo loan consent has been given for the purchase of the land. I am informed that the price is £1,110 plus legal and survey expenses, the area is approximately 12.65 acres and the land is derated agricultural land.
