§ Mr. EdenI have been asked to reply. It is known that up to 9th July some 2,700 single enemy alien internees have been sent to Canada. No more civilian internees are being sent to Canada, but, in any future arrangements for sending civilian internees overseas, it is hoped to make provision for allowing wives with their children to accompany or join their husbands.
