§ Mr. ShakespeareThe Royal Naval Volunteer Supplementary Reserve is a list of those who undertake to accept temporary commissions as officers in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve in time of emergency, if required. During the war they and all other married officers under 30 will be eligible for marriage allowance at rates varying from 3s. per day for a childless married officer to 5s. 6d. per day for a married officer with two or more children.
