Major Lloyd GeorgeI understand that the chief sources of importation of cheap grapes during the autumn are normally Spain, Bulgaria, Portugal and the United States. As regards the last part of the question, no licences are being used at present for the importation of grapes from foreign countries, but imports were permitted in the months of September and October to the value of approximately one-half of the imports of the previous year.
