§ Mr. R. Morganasked the President of the Board of Trade whether it is intended to impose any restriction on the importation into this country of oranges from Palestine?
§ Mr. StanleyI understand that my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster has received certain suggestions for the regulation of supplies of oranges with a view to making the largest possible supply available at reasonable prices, and that these suggestions are under consideration. The importance of the United Kingdom market to the Palestine growers of oranges is, of course, fully appreciated.
