HC Deb 02 November 1939 vol 352 c2151W
Mr. Jagger

asked the Postmaster-General whether, seeing that the evacuation of a large section of the staffs of the Post Office Savings Bank would be likely to result in a withdrawal of certain facilities now available to the public, and would possibly detract from the efficiency of the present system for the avoidance of fraud, he will retain the major portion of the staffs of the Post Office Savings Bank in London so long as such retention is possible?

Captain Waterhouse

Yes, Sir.
