§ Captain WallaceThe Glenshee Bridge is scheduled as an Ancient Monument and could not therefore be demolished without the consent of the Office of Works which, I understand, has not been given. In any case, a proposal to rebuild the bridge on its present site would not, in my opinion, provide a satisfactory road alignment.
