§ Captain WallaceApplication has been made by the urban district council for a loan for that part of the cost of the works for which they are responsible, and the matter is now under the consideration of my right hon. Friend the Minister of Health. Grants are not available from the Road Fund towards footbridges which are constructed apart from carriageways.
