Gibsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he has considered the letter sent to him on 24th October, 1938, by the Joint Committee of the Scottish National Union of Allotment Holders and the Society of Friends urging Government support for the development of the allotment movement as a contribution to physical and mental fitness and to national service on a voluntary basis; and whether he has any statement to make on the subject?
