HC Deb 02 June 1938 vol 336 cc2256-7W
Major Procter

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to the recent meeting of the Anti-Imperialist Conference in London, at which one speaker advocated the use of sabotage by the workers; whether a verbatim report of these proceedings was taken by the police; and what steps he is taking to prevent further incitements to a breach of the peace?

Sir S. Hoare:

I understand that this meeting was not open to the public. The police were not present, and, apart from my hon. Friend's statement, I have no information that a speech advocating sabotage was made.
