Mr. Chapmanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he is prepared to make regulations for the adjustment of grants to large burghs similar to those made in 1934 to cover small burghs, if and so far as any such adjustment is required, under Section 70 (1) (b) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1929, to cover burghs created now under the same enacting provisions of the Burgh Police (Scotland) Act, 1892, but with a population within the police boundaries
