HC Deb 22 April 1937 vol 322 c1933W
Lieut.-Colonel Heneage

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he can give the approximate amount of barley used in poultry production in this country, having in view the successful use of barley in the United States; and if he has made available any list of suggested balanced ration with barley content which has proved satisfactory in eliminating fattening tendencies?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

I regret that I am unable to give any estimate of the amount of barley used for poultry-feeding in this country. Recommendations as to the use of barley and barley meal in poultry rations are made in the Ministry's Bulletin No. 7: "Scientific Principles of Poultry Feeding."
