HC Deb 22 April 1937 vol 322 c1933W
Mr. W. Roberts

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether, in circulating his Return of Scheduled Diseases to local authorities in Great Britain, he will in future state, where it is possible, the locality to which outbreaks of sheep-scab have been traced so as to distinguish outbreaks which have originated within any county from cases caused by importation of sheep suffering from scab from another county?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

I regret that it is not possible to give effect to the hon. Member's request, as in the majority of cases the origin of disease is not known when the return is published. I have arranged that where the origin is definitely ascertained the information shall be published in the Annual Report of Proceedings under the Diseases of Animals Acts.
