§ Mr. R. S. HUDSON(for the First Commissioner of Works)The question of rehousing this staff was first raised in January, 1935, when it was stated that it was anticipated that the staff would outgrow the present accommodation. Since that date relief has been given to some extent. As the premises are now recognised as inadequate to meet the needs of the increased staff, endeavour has been made to find other accommodation, but suitable offices are not available. All possible steps are being taken to provide alternative accommodation as quickly as possible, but a definite date cannot be given as to when such accommodation will be available.
