§ Sir K. WOODThe rents to be charged for houses built by local authorities are a matter for the decision of the authority. I have no reason to suppose that local authorities are failing to secure as low rents as are practicable for dispossessed slum tenants. If the hon. Member has any particular case in mind I shall be glad to make inquiries.
