THE DUKE OF MONTROSE

asked for tabulated statements showing—

  1. (a) The annual requirements in tons respectively of the Navy, Army and Air Force of fuel oils and light oils;
  2. (b) For a tabulated statement showing how far in tons each Service requirement is met by oil derived from home sources;
  3. (c) A statement showing the amount in tons of both light and heavy oils obtained for Service purposes from low temperature carbonisation plants, gas and coke ovens, and shale oil mines respectively in the United Kingdom.
