Mr. BROWNThe aggregate sum paid to unemployed persons at the Employment Exchanges in the Wales Division during 1934 was approximately £9,460,000; of this amount approximately £3,009,000 was in respect of Insurance Benefit. The figures are exclusive of administrative expenses, and, further, do not include payments made through Associations, for which separate figures are not available.
