SANDERSONasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air when the charter granted to Imperial Airways expires, and, in view of the urgent need for speeding up and extending air mail and other air services, what his future attitude is towards these services; and whether, in view of the greatly increased subsidies granted by other countries to their air services, he will consider increasing the subsidy granted to air services?
§ Sir P. SASSOONI would refer my hon. Friend to the answer I have given to the hon. Member for East Leicester (Mr. Lyons), and would repeat that all relevant factors will be taken into consideration before any new agreement is concluded with Imperial Airways.
